Andrea Wickert is an illustrator from the Northeast who spends winters with her family in the lake effect snow belt of Upstate New York and summers by the water in Maine.
Andrea makes wonky, sketchy illustrations that live in the land of negative space, stem from a deep love of kid lit and thrive on an inability to be too serious.
Working in a mixture of traditional and digital mediums, her favorite things to illustrate in alphabetical order include: animals, boats, cause, dogs, effect, feathers, geese, houses, insects, jellyfish, kids, ladybugs, martians, nonsense, owls, pencils, quiet, robots, sea creatures, trees, ukuleles, vacations, whales, xenarthra, yachts, and zebras.
